Rod’s Kitchens has been designing, making and installing kitchens for Brisbane families since 1979, and we look after homes on the northside as well as the south.
Our designer comes to you, so the first consultation happens in your own kitchen. From there we build your cabinetry in our own factory, install it and organise the trades in between. One family-run team, start to finish.
Our factory and showroom are in Meadowbrook, south of the river, but you don’t need to cross town to get started. Your designer will visit your North Brisbane home, measure up, and talk through how you cook, how much storage you need and the style you’re after. You’ll get a free design and quote.
When you’re ready to choose finishes, the showroom is worth the trip: full kitchen displays, door colours, benchtops and hardware all in one place, and you can meet the team who’ll build your kitchen. It’s open six days, and after-hours visits can be arranged by appointment if weekdays are tricky.
Your cabinetry is then made in our own factory, not bought in, and fitted by our installers. Rod started out in a shared workshop in Underwood in 1979; more than 45 years on, we’re still family run.

Yes. Licence no. 15309499 with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, and we carry public liability insurance.
Cabinets (carcass) are covered for 10 years against defects in materials and workmanship, and doors, panels and drawer fronts for 7 years. Benchtops, hardware, sinks, taps and appliances carry their manufacturers’ warranties, and we can help you claim. See our warranty and service page.
Under our QBCC licence we can’t remove or add walls, or advise whether a wall is load-bearing. We can arrange for a licensed builder to quote that work, then coordinate the kitchen installation around it. More answers on our FAQs page.
